Kai Petite - Bass VI, Electric XII, Voice: A unique player who blurs the lines between guitar and bass, blending vocal lyrics and instrumental voice into his performances. ◆小沼ようすけ
秋田県出身、14 歳でギターを始める。2001年にSONY MUSICよりデビュー、10 年間在籍。現在までにSONY他から10 枚のリー ダー作品をリリース。
2004年、リチャード・ボナ (ba)、アリ・ホニッグ(dr)をフィーチャーし たトリオアルバム "Three Primary Colors"を Ny で録音。
2010年、フレンチカリビアンのミュージシャン達とレコーディ ングした「Jam Ka」発売。 グアドループの民族音楽グオッカの太鼓(ka)がフィーチャーさ れたこの作品で独自の世界観を展開。
2016 年、Flyway LABELを設立。 第一弾作品としてパリで録音された「Jam Ka」の続編、「Jam Ka Deux」をリリース。この作品をきっかけにParisやMunich のジャズクラブ、 Martinique Jazz festivalに出演。
2019年 、Jam Ka Deux(17年)ツアー直後のスタジオセッション を収録したアルバム"Jam Ka 2.5"をリリース。グォッカの本拠地Guadeloupeで行われた "Festival Eritaj"に出演。 ジャズをベースに様々な国を旅して得た影響、経験を音楽に採 り入れながら、世界を音で繋ぐ創作活動を続けるギタリスト。
エレキギターの他にアコースティックギターも使用 する。

◆Kai Petite
6弦ベースにギター弦を混ぜたFender Bass VIや、ギターにベース弦を混ぜたアコースティックギターを弾き、ベースとギターの境界線を常に行き来するプレイヤー。
ボーカルも歌詞のあるものから楽器として用いるボイスも担当し、ベースラインとコードにボイスを組み合わせた独自の世界観を作り出す。
2002年Gibson Jazz Guitar Contestバンド部門で優勝。
2009年にメジャーデビュー、３枚のアルバムをリリース。
2012年からハーモニカ奏者の倉井夏樹とのユニットやバンドSHAMANZでアルバムをリリースし、それぞれFuji Rockにも出演。
現在はソロに加えて小沼ようすけ、石塚隆充とのユニットAllendeや小沼ようすけ、沼澤尚とのバンドThe Timeless Nation、オーストラリアのEv Jones、日本の林一樹とのバンドH.K AMORI(ハイキック・アモリ)など多岐に渡り活動中。

◆沼澤 尚
1983年大学卒業と同時にLAの音楽学校P.I.T.に留学。JOE PORCARO, PALPH HUMPHREYらに師事し、卒業時に同校講師に迎えられる。2000年までLAに在住し、CHAKA KHAN, BOBBY WOMACK,AL.McKAY&L.A.ALL STARS,NED DOHENY,SHIELA E.などのツアー参加をはじめ数々のアーティストと共演しながら13CATSとして活動。2000年に帰国してから数えきれないアーティストのレコーディング/ライブに参加しながらシアターブルック,blues.the-butcher-590213,OKI DUB AINU BAND,NOTHING BUT THE FUNK,Koji Nakamura,フルカワミキ,河村隆一,大貫妙子,加山雄三,TOKU,臼井ミトン,など様々なシーンで活躍するドラマー。
