Objectives and Background
Hakuba Jazz®︎ was established in 2020 by TOKU and Kenji Hino, who were forced to suspend their activities due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
(JINO), Tony Suggs, Chloe Kibble, and other leading Japanese jazz artists active both in Japan and overseas.
It is a cultural community that was started when the founders of Hakuba visited the foothills of the great outdoors.
The artists were attracted to Hakuba's magnificent nature and warm community.
After that, we will continue to exchange through music, and in 2022, we will co-host the Future International Jazz Festival with Hakuba Village.
The Hakuba Jazz®︎ Festival was born, aiming to be a festival for all genres.
